  <description>This is the first half of a second volume of indeterminate funeral music, this time based entirely on sine-waves, and this time dedicated to Max Andersson.&#13;
It's under an hour but is still quite a long haul, in one continuous stretch of quiet, subdued sine-waves.&#13;
The frequencies lie between 100 and 1000 hertz and the durations lie between zero and ten seconds. The data in the 10x10 grid was used vertically here but in volume 2b, to follow shortly, it will be used horizontally, thus even further increasing the inherent order of the piece.&#13;
Aesthetically it's deeply subdued, reflective, and idea for listening in bed with the duvet pulled right up. It is vulnerable to background noise such as televisions but is ideal for protected environments free of other people.&#13;
So far as I know it does not contribute to worsening of anxiety or depression, but I equally cannot claim the reverse.&#13;
&#13;
Structural documents will follow with volume 2b. Volume 2a does work as a stand-alone piece so you don't need to wait for volume 2b if you have someone to mourn.</description>

  <notes>The piece was created in one sitting. The envelope and layout of form will be published along with volume 2b shortly, plus of course the data table of frequencies and durations. For now, listening to the piece should bring about the desired outcomes.</notes>
